If you’re here reading this, I bet I know a thing or two about you -

You’re beyond frustrated with fatigue, inability to lose weight or keep it off, emotional eating, brain fog, bloating, insomnia, weight gain, migraines etc.

You've tried every diet and health strategy that you have come across in books and on the internet but have not been able to make any of them stick.

You want answers and solutions that make a lasting difference for your health and well-being.

But are they actually out there?

Yes, they are, and I'll help you find them. I will guide you towards an individualized system, support, and accountability to help you transform your health and your body.

Like you, I am no stranger to frustration when it comes to my health.

I grew up staring at a book that sat on the kitchen counter called The Complete Scarsdale Medical Diet. The cover showed a picture of a (thin) man in a white lab coat and the book provided everything you needed to know in order to lose 20 pounds in 14 days and keep slim for a lifetime.

I remember my mom’s breakfast plate on this “lifetime” eating plan - ½ grapefruit, 1 piece of plain toast and black coffee. I also remember her face every morning when she ate this breakfast. She was definitely not enjoying her food.

I was programmed early on to believe:

  • “Thin” was the ideal body type

  • Whatever changes I made to obtain the ideal body type, the process was not going to be fun

  • And I was going to have to do “this” forever

I never did learn how to eat properly. Since I thought eating diet foods was no fun, I figured I should just eat whatever I wanted, and exercise was the solution. I enjoyed running, so it became a vital part of my everyday routine.

In college, my diet consisted of soft pretzels and Diet Pepsi. (I lived in Philadelphia at the time, so at least the soft pretzels were amazingly good.)

In my 20s, I survived on pasta, pizza, and ice cream (I was a girl on a tight budget!)

In my 30s, I lived off the leftovers that were on my children’s plates. I was also the queen of making desserts. Invite me to a party, and you could count on me to whip up a fabulous sweet treat to share with the crowd.

In short, I managed to maintain a healthy weight most of my life with terrible eating habits and a strict exercise routine.

It wasn’t until I was in my 40s when I was exhausted all the time, addicted to sugar, an insomniac, and in a rut that I realized that I needed to change.

I needed to start taking care of myself from the inside so that I could be a way better version of myself than what was showing up every day.

I stopped making excuses and made small changes… and those small changes opened big doors.

I made a vow to reduce the number of processed foods that my family ate and really figured out what fueled us. I focused less on baking desserts and started cooking meals.   My favorite was dinner! I planned meals for the week. Making dinner was no longer stressful or chaotic. Within 30 minutes, I could call everyone to the table, fuel our bodies with delicious foods, and relax, enjoying the meal and sharing special moments of our day together.

My eating habits aren’t about perfection or deprivation. They are about balance. I now listen to my body and eat what and how much it wants. My goal is to make mindful choices every day. I know what foods give me energy and what foods make me sluggish. I still enjoy pizza and still make a mean chocolate cake on special occasions.

I have the energy to go from morning till night. I have a positive outlook that helps me see the forest through the trees and know that, with the right mindset, I can conquer anything that comes my way.

No matter how many dead-ends you’ve faced in the past, there is a path forward to better health. I’ll guide you to it.
